Sangiovese juice for our Rosato comes from two sources. Some of the grapes are crushed into
bins for skin contact before pressing. We also drain off about 15% of the juice from the red wine
tank prior to fermentation. The juices are combined and fermented to make a delicious, dry,
food-friendly rose.
WINEMAKER NOTES
The Rosato has a reddish-pink color with a delightful strawberry and spice aroma. The round
texture and crisp acidity carry the bright strawberry and cranberry flavors to a lingering
finish.
FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS
Wonderful by itself as an aperitif, this wine also goes well with appetizers
such as smoked salmon, grilled marinated prawns, sushi, or mussels steamed in sherry with tomatoes
and paprika
